THE BEST PART OF MY HOME

Happy 2023!

I recently had the chance to interview a few of my past clients and we got to chat about how they’re enjoying their new homes along with what part of their home is their favorite feature and what makes their house a home.

I was a pleasure to reminisce about their time buying their houses and all the projects they’ve done along the way.

"As a single mom, my favorite part of my home is definitely my updated kitchen. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking meals for my family and entertaining guests, so it's important to me that it's functional and comfortable.

The kitchen renovation was a big project, but it was worth it in the end. I now have more counter space, new appliances, and beautiful cabinetry. But the feature I love the most is my large kitchen island. It's the perfect place to gather around with my kids and have a meal, or for them to do their homework while I cook dinner. It also makes a great spot for hosting parties and hosting friends.

The kitchen island also serves as a great storage space, it holds all my cooking utensils and ingredients. It's also a great spot for the kids to eat breakfast before school or for me to have a cup of coffee in the morning. It’s definitely the heart of our home!”

“My favorite part of the house is definitely the mudroom. It's not the most glamorous room in the house, but it's where all the action happens. We just recently upgraded to a brand new washer and dryer, and it's made such a big difference in our daily routine. It's now so much more efficient and convenient to do laundry and it's made a big impact on our daily lives. Plus, the mudroom is the perfect place for all our boots, coats and muddy shoes. It's a great space for keeping things organized and tidy.

Between two guys, two dogs, and a cat, I have to give credit to our mudroom for being the secret sauce to keeping our space clean and tidy.”

“Our favorite part of the house is definitely our wood burning fireplace. It's not just a source of heat, but it also serves as the centerpiece of our home. We love to entertain in the living room and the fireplace is always the focal point of the space. It creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. But, it's also great for quiet and cozy nights at home. We love to curl up on the couch and watch a movie or read a book by the fire. It's a great way to unwind and relax after a long day. It's truly the heart of our home.”
